The Registrant is little known by consumers, but quite useful. The document, generated free of charge by the Central Bank, allows the user to consult the history of active and inactive accounts, debts, financing and loans related to the CPF or CNPJ.
The Registrant can be consulted by computer, but to use the system, it is necessary to have an account with Banco do Brasil, Bradesco, Caixa Econômica, Itaú, Santander, Sicoob or Sicredi to activate it and then be able to perform the consultation.
How to activate the registration
First of all, you need to register with the tool to activate it.
For this, the user can choose to use the bank’s application, internet banking or digital certificate.
In the case of internet banking, a security phrase is sent to register with the bank that the user uses; in other forms of accreditation, there is the possibility of sending a letter or in person, but both forms are suspended due to the Covid-19 pandemic. The user can also register through the bank’s application, following the steps below according to their financial institution:
· Banco do Brasil: “Menu”> “Services”> “Registered”;
· Bradesco: “Registered”;
· Caixa Econômica: “Passwords and Settings”> “Registered Central Bank”
·
· Itaú: “Services”> “Central Bank Registered”;
· Santander: “Menu”> “Santander On”> “Meu Momento”> “BACEN Auto Credenciamento Registrado”;
· Sicoob: “Services”> “Registered Central Bank”;
· Sicredi: “Sicredi X”> “Registered”;
